What the service is
A wiper blade is a rubber edge in a metal or plastic frame that clips to the wiper arm. The rubber hardens in the sun, splits at the tips, and picks up grit from the glass. When that happens it skips, chatters, and leaves streaks right in your line of sight.
Why it matters
The first heavy rain of the season is when most people find out their wipers are done, usually at night on 101. Bay Area summers are hard on rubber: a blade that sat baking on a windshield from June to October can be shot before the first storm. Replacing blades is cheap and fast, and it is the one maintenance item you will notice the moment you use it.

The Car Care Council suggests replacing wiper blades about every six months, and most blades are done within a year. The better rule is to replace them the first time they streak, skip, or chatter, and to check them before the rainy season starts in the fall.

Yes, on vehicles that have one. Ask when you pull in and we will check whether we have the size on hand.
