From $89.99 $15 OFF Coupon House brand Synthetic Blend

Our Synthetic Blend Oil Change uses our own house brand synthetic blend, supplied in bulk rather than individual sealed bottles. From $89.99, which includes tax, 5 quarts of oil, a standard spin-on filter, a complimentary multi-point inspection and the $5 environmental fee, with extra quarts billed separately for larger engines. Our house brand full synthetic is also available, from $129 on the same terms.

What our house brand oil is

Our two lowest-priced oil changes use the shop's own house brand oil, in a synthetic blend and a full synthetic. It comes from bulk supply rather than individual bottles.

A synthetic blend mixes conventional base oil with synthetic base oil. Full synthetic is synthetic base oil all the way through, so it generally holds up better to heat and flows more easily on a cold morning start. Which one your car needs is set by the owner's manual, not by us.

Weights we stock

The weight is the number printed on your oil cap or in the owner's manual, like 0W-20 or 5W-30. These are the house brand weights we keep on hand.

House brand synthetic blend

  • 5W-20
  • 5W-30
  • 10W-30

For engines whose manual allows a synthetic blend in one of these weights. From $89.99.

House brand full synthetic

  • 0W-20
  • 5W-20
  • 5W-30

For engines whose manual calls for full synthetic in one of these weights. 0W-20 is the grade many recent Toyota and Honda manuals list. From $129.

If your manual lists a weight that isn't here, call (650) 394-5374 before you drive over.

Which cars it suits

Everyday commuters, family cars and trucks whose owner's manual lists one of the weights above. If the manual says a synthetic blend is fine, the $89.99 blend keeps you in spec for the least money. If it says full synthetic, skip the blend: the house brand full synthetic at $129 is the lowest-priced full synthetic we pour.

If your manual names a carmaker oil approval, which is common on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche, look at Mobil 1 or MOTUL instead. We match the spec in your owner's manual.

The filter we use

A new metal spin-on oil filter made by IFA Metro Street, the same maker as the air filters we carry. If your car uses a cartridge-style filter instead of a spin-on, call with your year, make and model for the price.

Price and what's included

Synthetic blend from $89.99. Full synthetic from $129. Both prices include tax and the $5 environmental fee, along with 5 quarts of oil, a new spin-on filter, a multi-point check, fluid top-offs and tire pressure. If your engine takes more than 5 quarts, the extra oil is billed separately. The $15 coupon works on either one.

What's Included
